Taxonomie[]
- Saltriovenator wurde erstmals von Dal Sasso et al. (2018) benannt. Sein Typ ist S. zanellai.
- Er wurde der Ceratosauria von Dal Sasso et al. (2018) zugeordnet.[1]
Arten[]
- S. zanellai ist die einzige bekannte Art dieser Gattung. Sie wurde 2018 von Cristiano Dal Sasso, Simone Maganuco und Andrea Cau beschrieben. Das Art-Epitheton ehrt Angelo Zanella, welcher das Fossil gefunden hat.[1]
